Taxation Officers
Appreciation of the helpful attitude of officers of the Land and Income Tax Department has been cxn pressed occasionally by members of the New Zealand Soeicty of Accountants. "After speaking in this complaining way about our taxation system," said a leading member recently, "it is pleasant to refer in other terms' to the oiricers of the department. For them E have; a great respect. I have, always found them courteous, reasonable and pat.ent, and L have to thank them for much consideration."
