URGENT HOSPITAL GASES

WE have been requested by the Whakatane Hospital Board to give prominence to the fact that in the event of urgent sickness or accident, it is not necessary for persons to obtain a doctors certificate in order to be admitted to the institution. Apparently such has been the general belief in the past and as a result much time has been lost in bringing the patients under the proper care and attention which is available at the institution. It should be, therefore thoroughly understood, that accident and serious cases may be taken direct to the hospital where they will be admitted at once and given immediate attention.
