What ho, •what ho, ma hearties. Will this wretehed rain ever stop. Here I sit over in my little on the 'Whale' making my model ship by the hour and when it turns six o'clock, [ tuck it away, light up my lire turn lip my. old clay pipe and read and read and read. Its alright for a change but. I'd give anything to see a really fine daj*. So avouUl Hutinskj- so would Peterkin! Yet here avc have to sit till the sun comes out and Avarms us all up again. Lts hard to remember how bright my island used to look Avit.li the sun 011 the sea and the green rock-pools glistening and full of sea life. 'Spose it will come again soon. The Hoods must have been bad over your way and although I; thought of you all quite a lot 1 did not know a thing at the time because there was such a fog on the sea that even my highpowered telescope couldn't penetrate it. However I heard all about it later from a party of fishermen and I nearly roAved oA'cr in my little boat to give you a hand. Sure, it must have been a bad Well avc must all do our best to be cheerful and I'm sure the sun Avill shine again soon. Yours till next week P.T.W.
