DONATIONS WANTED
INCAPACITATED SOLDIERS "RAVENSTHORPE CONVALESCENT HOME When Majpr Hutchinson recently visited Wliakatane, he showed Avork done by men in Occupational Therapy classes in the liavensthorpc- Convalescent Home. There were various articles, all beautifully made and Avi'tli the exception of a piece of. embroidery, all made from scraps etc. These classes arc of great value to t\ie men and assist greatly in their - recovery, and Major Hutchinson asked for donations of the following:— Old felt hats, coloured shoes, old tooth brushes (the handles are used in many ways), lleeees. (men spin their own wool and make woven and knitted articles), darning wool, bits of fur, rabbit skins, jjieccs of soft leather and felt, any goods for fancy work. There must be many of these things just "lying about" many homes, and it is requested that they be sent in where they can be of real use in assisting the recovery of our soldiers. If goods are labelled "'Ravens-, thorpe Convalescent Home," and. left ht the Home Guard Depot, they will be forwarded. I'L* more convenient. to the donors they can be left with Mrs 13. Barry, Hillcrcst, or Mrs Winstone, 5 Victoria Avenue.
