WAIMANA NOTES
FAREWELL DANCE
The farewell dance tendered to Trooper Savage, recently, was. very well attended. The dance music was contributed by M. King's orchestra and Air A. Bell obliged with an extra. The duties of M.C. were in the capable hands of Mr D. Woollicld. During the evening Mr .1. L. Burnett, on behalf of all present, called oji the guest of the evening to accept a wallet anil its contents, with best wishes from all and wishing him every luck in the future and a safe return. Trooper Savage brlelly responded, tlianking Mr Burnett and all for the gift and splendid evening given him. A most, enjoyable supper was served bj r a capable ladies committee and much enjoyed by all. The Moxite Carlo dances were as popular as usual, and at a late hour all joined in singing "Aultl Lang Syne" and the playing of the National Anthem closed tlie evening.
