Many householders were- startled on Friday when the flood receded from Hu'ir lawns, and left i?i full view, and open to the public's iliv/.e, iiuinJ)ers of eels, raniiinj; iu size, from good big specimens down to "bbot-lacc.s," struggling and squ'rmihg, on the grass. No doubt the eels Were just as startled.
