WEDDING BELLS

ANDERSOM PULLEY

The marriage took place on March, 1 at St. Andrew's Church, The Terrace, Wellington, o,f Joan Elizabeth, second daughter of Mrs and the late Mr A. P. Pulley, Wellington, and William Stewart, second son of the fate Mr and Mrs Wi E. J. Anderson, Napier. The Rev. Brian Ktlroy officiated, and the organist was Mr Erank Thomas. During the. signing of the register Airs Karen Hook sang "I'll Walk Beside You."

The bride, who was escorted by her uncle, Mr J. N. Rider, wore a charming model suit of dusky pink llat crepe, blaok hat and accessories and a shoulder spray of dark red roses. She was attended by lier sister, Mrs Eric Eis'k, wearing a suit similar to that of the. bride in misty blue, with navy hat and accessories and spray of shot silk roses. Mr Bert Knee ablv carried out the duties of best man. The reception was held at Mrs K. Fisk's residence, Clutha Avenue, Khandallah, where 'Mrs Pulley, assisted by the bridegroom's sister, Miss Allison Anderson, received the guests. Mrs Pulley was wearing a tailored grey costume and model grey hat, and carried a scarlet hand—, bag, and Miss Anderson a frock of' blue, pattoned crepe with navy coat 8 and hat. Among the many cables and telc-i grams received were those from thebride's twin brother, Sgt. N. A.j Pulley who has been serving in the; Middle East for the past three 1 years, her sister, Miss Con Pulley, the bridegroom's two brothers, Dr.; Colin Anderson, Invercargill, and Mr G. Anderson, Cliristchurch, and the executives and staff of the Wha-; katane Paper Mills. ■ A feature of the. occasion was the. beautiful two-tired wedding cake given by Mr and Mrs Tims, Oliope.i Mr and. Mrs Anderson left later on a tour of the North Island. !
