A.T.C. v TANEATUA WIN FOR IJOMK TEAM j Gaining tlieir first win in the present series of games, A.T.C. put up an excellent performance at the Domain on Sunday, where they emerged successful by 57 runs on the: first innings. Taneatua fielded a depleted team, put their first three batsmen gave them a good, start, with J. Rawson 29, L. McCready 11 and C. McCready 18. Bowling for A.T.C. I. Gah r er secured the fine average of 5 wickets for 13 runs. SV.T.C.'s total of 112 came mainly from the bats of A. G. Fisher 72, F. Stewart 21, K. Crozier 10 and A. Galyer 10 not out. J. Rawson bowled 15 overs for Taneatua getting 7 wickets for 48 runs'while L. McCready fielded remarkably well, taking lour catches on the outfield— a good performance. The bowling of O. Laurie (2 for 10 and 7 for 7), AVaklergrave (4 for 2, and 3 for 7) and J. Henry (3 for 0) was far too good for A.T.C. and after making 75 runs for 5 wickets (declared), Central secured an out-, right win by an innings and 4,1 runs. The Central team sportingly gave A.T.C. a third knock for practicc, where they batted more confidently against less deadly bowling.
