WEEK-END BOWLING THE WHAKATANE CLUB I Oncc again the Whakatanc greens were well patronised over the -weekend when the competition Shield games attracted the main attention. In this match Whakatanc beat Tancatua to the tunc of 84 points to 68. In the 'Feathers' match Whakatanc. just scraped 'home by a single point margin. This; was a wellfought game in which the Taneatua team kept almost neck and neck and towards the end were actually in the lead until the locals secured a 'three' on the last head.
