Not Too Old At Eighty

During the presentation of trop-

hies at the completion of the To A roll a bowling tournament last week, the president of the club, Mr 11. H. Wood, drew attention to the fact that two 80 year old skips, Messrs G. Cutler (Carlton) £nd W. H. Taylor (Paeroa) had both brought their teams through to the jjost-section play. Mr Cutler was a member of the winning team at the first New Year tournament concluded by the Tc Aroha Club,, 12 years ago. The consistent good play of these, veteran bowiors earned the espect of their younger competitors.—Te Aroha News.
