The Fanners' Co-operative Auctioneering Co. Ltd., report: — Sheep: At their weekly stock sale* held at Hamilton on Tuesday, a heavy yarding ol' fat sheep was penned. Owing to the difficulty in securing killing space at the works,, prices for fat lambs \vere easier. Cattle: A J'ull yarding of ox beef was. penned, and with only a limited enquiry values weret again easier. Cow and. heifer beef was also yarded in full numbers, and here 1 also values declined. Values remained steady for a medium offering of veal. Pigs: A very large j-arding of fat pigs, came forward.' Competition for baconers was very 'keen values being fully up to recent quotations. The demand for unfinished baconers and porkers was not as keen as at other sales, prices' easing lightly.
