The Fanners' Co-operative Auctioneering Co. Ltd., report: — Sheep: At their weekly stock sale* held at Hamilton on Tuesday, a heavy yarding ol' fat sheep was penned. Prices for heavy prime Avetli-* ers were a shade easier, but. light we'ight sold readily at fulll ate rates. Quotations for ewes were on a par with recent sales. Owing to the difficulty in securing killing space at the works,, prices for fat lambs \vere easier. Cattle: A J'ull yarding of ox beef was. penned, and with only a limited enquiry values weret again easier. Cow and. heifer beef was also yarded in full numbers, and here 1 also values declined. Values remained steady for a medium offering of veal. Pigs: A very large j-arding of fat pigs, came forward.' Competition for baconers was very 'keen values being fully up to recent quotations. The demand for unfinished baconers and porkers was not as keen as at other sales, prices' easing lightly. Owing to the dry conditions in the Waikato, store and wcaner pigs Avere not in demand, values easing considerably. Quotations: — Sheep: Heavy prime wethers 28s to 28s 9d; prime medium weight wethers 26s (kl to 27s (id; light prime wethers 25s to 2Gs; prime b/f hoggets 24s to 25s- (kl; heavy prime ewes Pis Gd to 13s (id; medium lis to 12s; lighter 9s to l()s Gd; fat Jambs IDs to 245. Cattle: Heavy prime bullocks £14 15s to £15 10s; medium £13 to £14 ss; light £11 to £12; unfinished steerS £9 10s to £10 10s; medium prime young cows and heifers £8 15s to £9 lis; light £7 to £8 10s.; heavy fat cows £8 to £9 ss; other killable cows £6 to £7 10s; boner cows £3 to £5 10s; medium runners £4 10s to £5; heavy Aeal ers £3 15s to £4 ss; medium £2 lO.s to £3 10s; light 30s to £2.
