WOMAN WRAPPED VtS RAGS

Mrs Bertha Ansc.n., of Ilolniesville, near Newcastle, who had been missing for two months, was found last week,, alive hut 111 an acute stage of. starvation, under a house 200 yards from her home. She was discovered, by neighbours who were investigating what appeared a curious-looking bundle under the house. They found, that it was Mrs Ansen, wrapped in bags. She was too weak to talk. Remains of food under the house suggested that she had accumulated a fair hoard before, she disappeared. Mrs Ansen had not been seen since, she walked out of her home late on the night, of September 2-1, leaving her three young children. She liad been worried about her husband, who is with the forces in New Guinea.
