The nation's No. 1 box-office champions, Abbott and Costcllo. come Saturday and Monday to the screen of the Regent Theatre in Dainon Runyon's "It Ain't Hay." The Universal picture, heralded as the most comical in which the two comedians have starred,, has Grace McDonald, Cecil Kellaway. Eugene Pallette, Patsy O'Connor and Richard Lane in its cast. Extraordinary added feature, is the appearance of Lcighlon Noble and his orchestra. Some of Runyon's most colourful Broadwav characters are portrayed in the hilarious story 'in which Bud and Lou .become cmbroiled in a strange, case of mistaken identity. Two horses, however, are the principals in the error, ono a nag and the oilier a handicap favourite. When the comics are suspected of substituting one steed for the other, the action of the film is said to excite more laughter than any corresponding siination 'in their previous hits..
Using the great natonal game of baseball as its colourful background, Samuel Goldwyn's production of "'Tlie Pride of the Yankees" for RKO Radio release brings to the screen both a compelling romance and the inspiring real-life story of a great American hero, Lou Gehrig, the famous lirst-bascman of the New York Yankees. —witli Gary Cooper starring in the title role.
