Sir, —Referring to your sub-lead-er in last issue re closing of shops at lunch hour, we note you state that certain farmers are complaining of the inconvenience and delay particularly in this time, of the season. Well Sir, that may be correct, but surely the farmers must eat too. so why not arrange, their lunch hour accordingly. At any rate all the. shops do not close, the main ones being drapers and mercers, one t stationer and, one grocer.
