Prized New Zealand Shrub Dr. J. W. Hunkin, Bishop of Truro, keeps a garden in which his special pride is a New Zealand shrub—a Leptospcrmum —a present from the late Bishop ol" Wellington, Dr. Sprott, who sent him a cutting. It has a white ilowcr with a pink centre. The shrub i.s jjrobably Leptospennuin Keatleiji., or one of the. other colourful manuka hybrids.
