GARDEN PARTY

GIRL GUIDES AND BROWNIES

TWENTY POUNDS RAISED

The successful garden party held last Saturday,, by the. courtesy of Mrs Eggers in her property at Kopeopeo, in the interests of the local Girl Guide Company and Brownie Pack* resulted in tlie taking of, no less than £20, which will go towards the funds.

The stalls were, staffed, by members of the organisation and by interested committee members and friends. The whole of the arrangements were made, by Licuts Reardon and Armstrong who are to be warmly complimented on the results.

Brown Owl Josephine Ramson presided over the Brownies stall and arranged the junior section which' enjoyed widespread popularity.

At the conclusion Guide Commissioner Mrs B. S. Barry thanked Mrs Eggers for her generosity and all those, who had assisted, by personal contribution or effort. She then presented the prizes won during the afternoon.
