CZECH WORKERS IN BELGIUM
According lo a German official announcement, in an Allied air raid made on two factories in Antwerp, o'.i April 2000 people were killed. The News i'rom Belgium now reports I'ioin reliable sources that seven hundred among them were Poles and Czechs, who Ave re forcibly talcen to Belgium l'or compulsory labour. Neither the- Belgian Jior the Poli.sh and Czech Avorkers had a chance, to escape, bccause the Germans did not' sound alert for the population. The day after the. horrors of the destruction of properly and the dealll of civilians, although Ihey knew that the responsibility lo:' many of the dead was their very own.
