"THINGS TO COME"
War. pestilence and famine — History's pages tell: Have, harassed hapless sons of elay— Since' man at Eden fell. Sinister cruel and ruthless — They have sown among the races— Suspicion hatred greed and fear — To lull the golden graces;— Of Faith, Hope and; Charity—• Heiresses of eternity— Enduring and, abiding ever-^ To be .subdued by evil never. Evil minds may plot and plan— But since the human race began—• Evil in spite of fiendish wit — Has perished, in its own foul pit. Tin- crowning crime at Calvary— Opened the eyes of men to see — The mighty power ol' faith & love — That in our present crisis will I) rove— The divine presence, ever near— To cast, out the demons of hate and fear. Love is the life of the golden grain— That eventually will lili the wain — Mat red and greed are the, tares designed— To be burned, for the good of all mankind. 11. SEIIG ANT.
