PERSONAL
Pilot-OlTiccr Stanley T. Schmidt, who has been reported missing on operations is the youngest son of Mrs and the la'te Mr J. N. Schmidt, of Tnrua. Aged he was educated at the Turua and Ngatea High Schools and was employed by the Post and Telegraph Department at Turua and Taneatua before, joining the Air Force in 1941. He left for England in October of that year, after training in New Zealand, and Canada.
