4* LABOUR DAY TOURNAMENT LOCAL BOWLERS COMPETE N Bowlers were favoured with ideal bowling weather for their Labour Day Tournament held on the. local greens, winch were in perfect order. The competition of five games of eleven heads each attracted ten leams of local players and some very close games were witnessed, the final between King and Caisley which resulted in a win for King by ten points to nine, being a fair indication of the day's play. The results were as follows:—A SECTION . Loane, Francis, Jas. Bell,, Matthews 11-z wins; King, Pearson, McKenzie, O'Rourke 3 wins; G. Head, Hellyar, Bigelow. Grace 2y 2 wins; Mclsaae, E. J. Bell, McLeod, Donaldson 3 wins: Mollis,, White, Bennett, Martin 2 wins. B SECTION Caisley, Baxter, Wilson, Smith 4 wins; Harris, Grant, Carling, Mcrito 2Yz wins; Chamberlain, Drube, Crceke Otley 2V2 wins; Howat, Alexander, Cantrcll, Mackintosh 3 wins; Cuvrah, Marsh, Shaplcy, C. Head 3 wins. In the. play-off in A section King, Pearson, McKenzie and O'Rourke 14 beat Mclsaae, Bell, McLeod, Donaldson lO.i Final: King, Pearson, McKenzie, and O'Rourke *10 beat Caisley, Baxter,, Wilson and Smith 9. LADIES GOLF On Saturday 30th instant a Medal round will be played. The draw will be as follows: —Mrs Mussett and Mrs Dawson; Mrs Sloane and Mrs Boon: Mrs Berg and Mrs Otley; Mrs Combes and Mrs Suckling; Mrs Winstone and Miss Graham; Mrs Eggers and Miss Righton; Mrs Barry and.
