BLACK MAGIC
This i.« a- goo . game for a party. A memLf . of tre company stands up and says that a person (another member of the* guests) will be able to tell the party any article they may pick out for him to guess. although he will leave the room and a selection is made, and when he returns you point to several things, and sure enough he will he able to name the correct one. And this is the solution of the very mysterious happening. As the person is going out of. the room he puts so many fingers on the side of the door—it may be one, two or three, or four, varied according to the number of times the. trick is played— and the, person with the stick, who is to do the pointing, takes secret note of this sign, for the number of questions is to agree with the number of fingers shown on the door. The party then decide on an article which is in the; room, and, next the guesser is called in. As he puts four fingers on the edge of the door as he was going out it indicated to the player in league with him that the fourth thing he points to must be the article chosen by the party.
