Mr and Mrs C. H. Hay ward, of .Whakqtanc. have left on a holiday in Auckland. They anticipate, they will be absent some time. Commissioner Cobb of the Domin* ion Ambulance Division, will be. inspecting the local Nursing Division and Cadets this evening. During hi* stay in Wlia'katane he will be the guest of Mr and Mrs A. J. Canning og King Street. The writer of the much discussed new "Kippenberger March" was Mir A. O. Eyles late of Kaiapoi, Christ, church. He is a nephew of Mrs Mc« Pherson, of Haig Street,, Whakatane, and a cousin of Miss Cannell, who is a member of the staff ol N<?w« man's Stationers, Whakatanc.
