SUMMER GAMES

WITH the passing of the colder months has come the period for summer games and to-day's report shows the first cricket match of the new season. The bowling; fraternity is also busying- itself with preparations for another long enjoyable interlude on the local greens to worthily follow on the splendid example set by last year's programme. Tennis is also likely to be extremely popular again, while the croquet club can once more be depended to carry on its full schedule of games undeterred by war conditions or other wise. All indications to-day point to summer pastimes being on a well organised scale which will probably be an improvement on last year's standard.
