SulliA r an, of Natal South Africa, that in the recent Union elections he successfully contested the Berea constituency in the city of Durban, in the interests of General Smuts Party. Mr J. R. Sullivan is Ave understand a Professor of Economics in the Natal UniA'ersity and President of the city's combined Sports Association. His win coincided Avith the re-election of his brother as the National Party candidate for Bay of Plenty and Ave congratulate Mr Sullivan on this dual honour to his family.
