REPATRIATION OFFICER'S VISIT

Warrant Officer Rice, District •Sick and Wounded Officer for the INo. 2 Military Area, visited WluiIvatane last Wednesday for the purpose of contacting all men who have been discharged as a result of. wounds or of ill-health.

He stated to a BEACON representative that lie .intended visiting this •centre every six months and sought the co-operation of parents and relatives of men who were included in the category named. The Home 'Guard office will be tlia official centre in each district for enquiries •or information concerning the care •of sick and wounded discharged men. The department also interests itself dn members of the W.A.A.G. who &ave returned from overseas.
