R.D.M. CANDIDATE'S PLEDGE

In a communication just received from Canon Walter Averill chairman of the Dominion Reconstruct tion Movement, advice, is given that Mr H. J. Angus, Independent R.D.'M. candidate Tauranga, "was the only candidate in the Tauranga electorate who replied to a questionnaire sent to all candidates, asking if they endorsed those fundamental principles of Christian reconstruction which Avere democratically approved in open conference by members; of a hundred organisa-. tions in New Zealand. "He has entirely endorsed the essential principles and. has given us a signed pledge, to work for their immediate implimentation," the communication concludes.
