CHRISTMAS PARCELS FOR MEM-

BERS OF THE ARMKI) FORCES | SERVING OVERSEAS The Postmaster, Mr Lattimore, has forwarded the following information:— The usual reduced postage rate for the heavier Christmas parcels for the Armed Forces overseas will apply again this year. The rates for Christmas postings will be: For parcels not exceeding 31b., Is. For parcels 'weighing between 31b and 1111) '2s. These rates, Avhich are in respect of Christmas postings only, will be applicable during the following periods to the. countries- concerned: Ist. to 30th September. United Kingdom, Middle East, Africa, India, etc. From Ist to 30th October: Canada and other parts of North and South America and West Indies. From 13th October to l.xth November: Australia, Fiji and Pacific Lsl ands. The public, in its own interest, is urged to post parcels for the forces in the Middle East as early as possible in September.
