Adventures of a Ring
When a little girl in primer ll'l arived at the Whakatane Primary School yesterday .she flourished round to the envy of her companions, mother's diamond cluster engagement ring. The plot thickened when she 'swopped' it with another little girl for a book or something trivial and the new owner promptly lost the ring in the play ground. An agitated mother arrived to demand that the whole class .search for the ring which was: finally recovered. We have yet to hear how the original culprit fared.
