Two local men from the Thorn!on district wore given a warm welcome home last week, in the persons of Ptes Ivan Head and Ros.s Cracldoek. at a well-attended dance. Each received gifts from the Welcome Home. Committee and expressed their pleasure at. heiny, home a^ain. A Monte Carlo dance was won by Mrs Fisher and partner. Music was supplied by the Gaiety 15oys orchestra and supper was catered, for by the ladies committee..
