There was a good attendance at a meeting of Mr W. Sullivan's supporters at Ohope last. "Wednesday evening when the National Party candidate and .sitting member j'or Bay of Plenty was accorded a hearty vote of thanks and confidence. Mr lion Marsh occupied the. chair. Mr Sullivan touched on all current jjolitical topics thrashing particularly the Land Bill and maintaining that the electricity .shortage was definitely due to the Hon. 11. Semple's apathy towards the advice of competent officers. A general discussion on the National Party's programme concluded the meeting..
