Waimana River Erosion
Subsequent to the recent decision of the Whakatane County Council to approach Mr Gillande.rs lor a contribution towards the cost of protection work, Cr Wardlaw reported he had interviewed Mr Gillanders who was prepared to pay 2o per cent of the cost of erosion protection work to a maximum P a yincnt of £12 10s. The council resolved that Mr Gillanders' offer be accepted with thanks.
