ENLIGHTENING THE YANKS
Sir.-—I read our American visitors tvere, during their stay among us, :akcn to see the Rangitaiki Dairy Factory. After examining its. wonders and getting an earful of its rast potential wealth etc. I think it would have been an excellent idea to have provided the party with |Ks->masks, and strawberry boxes and taken them to inspect Klaus boiling down yard. There they could have inspected for themselves the. ultimate end of the poor beasts, whose produce is the life; blood of the aforementioned factory. They could then observe for themselves the humane methods of our supposedly civilised little country in getting rid of our humble servants when they arc no longer fit for money producing. A trip on a Bobby Calf collecting truck might also prove illuminating. liti closing, after the trip to the Paroa school, how about a look in at our modern bandroom and its conveniences. Hoping these things will be included in our next visitors itinerary. I am Mr Editor F. I. ALLAN.
