Licences Too High
Speaking in the. House of Representatives, Mr W. Sullivan, M.P., said that many holders of auctioneers' licenses to conduct second-hand marts in small towns had asked that the annual fee of £4.0 be reduced. Such marts were of service, to the community., and if the fee were not reduced many districts would lose the advantages of such services.
