WELLINGTON. b 9th July 1943 Notice is hereby given' that it is; intended,, pursuant to the Rangitaikii Land Drainage Act, 1910, and, its amendments, to make and levy, on: the unimproved value of all land! within the district constituted under the said. Act, the general rates to - meet maintenance-costs for the per-r iod Ist April,, 1943, to 31st March, 1944, as described in the Schedule hereto. The' amount, of such rates -will be payable in one sum on the 30th day of August, 1943, together with the ■ special rates already made and levied. The valuation roll of the district is open for inspection at the office of the Collector of Rates, Chief. Drainage Engineer's Office, Room Government , Buildings, Customs Street West, Auckland, and a copy of same may be inspected at the .office of the Land Drainage Engineer, at Thornton, near Whakatane, at all times at which those offices are . . open for the transaction of public business. SCHEDULE. Class A. —On the unimproved value on all lands classified Class A by the arbitrators appointed under Section 6 of the Rangitaiki Land! Drainage Act, 1910, twopence and. seventy-eight one-hundredths of a penny - (2.78 d) in the pound. Class B.—On the unimproved value of all lands so classified! as Class B, one penny and eighty-six one hundredths of a penny (1.86 d) in the pound. Class C. —On the unimproved value of all lands so classified! . as Class C, ninety-three one-hundredths of a penny (0.93 d) in the pound. Class D. —On the unimproved value of all lands soi classified 1 ; as Class D thirty-one onehundredths of a penny (0.31 d) in the pound. J. G.
