HAMILTON SALE The Farmers' Co-opsrative Auctioneering Go. Ltd. report:— Sheep: At their weekly stock sale held at Hamilton on Tuesday, a smaller yarding of fat sheep was penned. A full bench of buyers operated and prices for prime wethers showed an advance on last week's rates. Prime ewes also met with an improved demand and values for i this class were also firmer. An aver- / age yarding of. lambs sold at un- <jjj | changed rates. I Cattle: A medium yarding of all classes came forward. Values for nrime ox beef and prime cow and heifer beef remained firm at last week's quotations. Second quality cow beef also remained firm. Fat calves came forward in average numbers and sold freely at late ruling quotations. The boner cattle section was filled to the usual capa-. city and values remained firm. Pigs: A light yarding of fat pigs and a medium entry, of store pigs came forward. All classes sold fully up to recent quotations. Quotations: — . . !
