WINTER WEATHER
FOG. Isn't it fun to go to school Upon a foggy day? I can't see anj r one at all, Nor the house along the wa}\ I Avalk along so carefully. For everyone is lost—but me! WIND. I'll take my kite to the top of the hill Where the buttercups grow beside the mill, And the wind blows fast and free. And I'll hold the strings as tight as tight* For 1 know, if I don't, that my pretty kite Will go dancing away from me. FROST. Jack Frost's been very busy In ever}' field and lane. He's painted pretty pictures On e\ery Avintlow pane. But Avhen I go outside lie nips My nose and toes and. finger-tips. SHOWERS. Mummy says it looks like rain. Tiic sky is cold and grey. So I'll take ray blue umbrella. When I go out to-day. Then if a shoAver there should lie. I'll put it up to shelter inc. RAIN. Fitter, pitter. pitter, pitter, Hear the little raindrops full! But however fast they spatter They don't worry us at all. For we're Avearing our goloshes. Pixie hats and mackintoshes, THUNDER. Bang! Bang! Bang! Bang! Hear the thunder roar! See the lightning Hashing Acoss the Open door. See the danc'ng raindrops Go rushing down the lane. The. storm Avill soon be over,, An.] the sun v.i'l shine again.
