HITTING THE STONE This is a game which can be plaved out of doors when you forget to bring your ball. Choose two stones, as round as possible, about the .size of a golf ball. Select a spot to start the game and place one stone there,, -with the other about three paces in front. Choose a finishing post about ten 3'ards away, and a tree makes a good mark for this. No. 1 player picks up the first stone and tries to hit and move the second one. NO'. 2 player comes up, picks up the stone No. 1 aimed at and tries to hit the stone he threw, Avhich is now probably several paces off.
