POLISH PARATROOPS IN SCOTLAND KEEP IX FIGHTING TRIM: Polish paratroops in Scotland Avent through their paces in a realistic battle exercise and proved, themselves tough and hardened fighters. Dropped from their aircraft they reached their weapon containers in a matter of seconds and advanced under a barrage of live ammunition to take strategic points held by the "enemy." High Polish and British officers were pivsjnt. Polish paratroops advancing through barbed wire under fire from live ammunition —preparing for the day when they will strike a blow for Poland.
