The Friesian cattle, in this herd were purchased as yearlings at Mr Neil Carter's d'spersal sale two years ago. Mr McCrackcn has used pedigree Jersey bulls with good butterfat backing the herd being now in calf to well backed bulls. The cows have been tested over a number of years to build up one of the best herds, in the district. Individual calving dates and buttcrfat figures averaged over several years, will bg given at the sale. Having been farmed on high country these cows will prove great producers on heavier soil.
