The second canvass of the Borough of Whakatane for the Red Cross shop (under the ( streets scheme) has just been completed. The amount taken was £299 10s lOd. As the first canvass totalled £310 18s, the amount taken in the shop from 9th February to 9th June, 1943, is £610 Bs' lOd of which the concerned may feel justly proud
