SUGGESTION FOR RUGBY SEASON
WITH the general interest in Rugby football apparently quickening throughout the district and the only drawback being the lack of players, we beg leave to profer a suggestion which we feel would assist very materially in adding to the success of and interest in the forthcoming season. Why not a friendly Home Guard competition say, of teams from the infantry, engineers, signallers, medical section and others. The playing spells could be cut down to ten minutes, while by mutual consent the pace could also be modified—perhaps compulsorily. What about iti
