ENTHUSIASM AT THORNTON
NEW TEAM PLANNED
As a result of the meeting in the Thornton Hall recently it was unanimously decided to form a district Rugby Football Club which will affiliate either with the: Whakatane or Rangitaiki Union. It is hoped to field a strong senior team. The election of officers resulted: — President, Mr O. Robins. Secretary-Treasurer, Mr T. Eagleson . Club Captain, Mr H. J. Jackson. Committee. Mr D. Curric, Mr Mac Davies, Mr J. Jackson, Mr W. T. Law. Delegate to Union, Mr Robins. Sociai Committee, Messrs J, Jackson, J. Flavell, A. Price, S. Goodrick, M. Davies, T. Wcke, T. Mexted, 13. Curric, J. H. Jackson, A. Owsbaldson.
