Theft of Petrol To have petrol stolen always causes annoyance but it can have serious repercussions. During the week-end a local resident, whose wife was seriously ill, obtained, petrol through the issue of a .special license for use in the event of it being necessary to take her to hospital in a hurry. On Saturday night four gallons of petrol disappeared from the car which was parked for -■emergencies outside the gate. Fortunately it was not necessary, but if it had what would have been the -consequences? Possibly a life!
