BOROUGH PATRIOTIC QUOTA
LIST OF PROMISED SUBSCRIPTIONS
. CURRENT YEAR'S APPEAL COMMITTEES ACKXOWLEDGMENT The following list represents the various donations promised by residents within the Whakatane Borough (including Ohope) to meet the current 1943 appeal. The list is the net result of the canvass by 45 collectors throughout the Borough and the beach areas and is virtually complete but for one or two which have still to come ' to hand. It Should be remembered when perusing the list that many of the amounts indicated are only initral contributions and as such are marked by an 'x' also that in the case of civil servants, many are contributing directly through their own departments to the Patriotic Fund, and are therefore ineligible for inclus- . ion in the Whakatane Borough lilst.
Wo have been informed by the secretary that there are still several lists yet to come to hand. These will be acknowledged" later. Fid.
