Acting on the assumption that there are people in the district who can assist the Company and who are willing to do so, once they are aware of the urgency of the situation; the Board of Directors appeals to any residents of the Rangitaiki Plains, who are in a position to lend, a hand, to come forward and offer their services. The following information is given in an endeavour to make the Dairy Company's position reasonably clear, so that those who are prepared and able to help, will understand how real is the need for their assistance. The Company has been compelled to retain the services of men who would prefer to be. in the army.
