CREAM AND BOBBY CALVES The New Zealand Co-operative' Pig Marketing Assoeiation to their enquiries are in receipt of the following advice from the Goods Service Charges Tribunal: "The Goods Service Charges Tribunal has received enquiries', as regards future procedure to be adopted by operators and companies in arranging new cartage contracts for cream and bobby calves'. At a recent meeting of the Tribunal it was decided: — 'That contracts may be entered into as in the past, but if the price fixed in any contract, whether a rcnawal or an entirely new contract, is in excess of the price, ruling $1 that, district last season, the contract is subject to confirmation J>3 T the Tribunal. In the meantime the rates ruling last season should be paid. Any increase approved, by the Tribunal will be retrospective in operation.' "Copies of contracts far confirmation by the Tribunal should be forwarded to the Commissioner of Transport, Wellington, together with full details of costs, mileage., time and loads, etc., and, any other information that the operator may desire to place lie fore the Tribunal to assist it in arriving at a decision."
