BEES IN A WORKSHOP
INCIDENT IN THAMES
There's an elderly gentleman in Thames who grows his own tobacco. His brother-in-law, who lives in the same house, keeps bees. Well,- the old chap was preparing rum and honey for his weed the other day, when a swarm of bees entered his workshop and proceeded to rob him of his honey.
His efforts to chase them off were in vain, so he iet them feast. But before long he noticed that... they were unable to fly. "1 fixed, 'em," lie said. "I' got 'em drunk on the rum. I don't think they'll comc back." Or will they?
