EDGECUMBE FAREWELL COMMITTEE ANNUAL MEETING SOON The Avork of the Edgceumbe Farewell Committee, is too well known to need, any further repetition here but Ave Avould like to point out on the eve of the annual meeting that splendid organisation (May 20) tliat i t n the past it lias, farcwcillfid over 80 men from the district ami without exception has presented each with £2 10s. The committee is now urgently in need of funds aggravated by the fact that a growing number of men are noAV returning after being discharged from the forces and the. committee is endeavouring to giA r e eacli of these a further 3 guineas. Edgecumbc people are urged to lally round the Farewell Committee and. assist it forward in its efforts to .SCI'A'C.
