The latest ciitatilons from the Air Department regarding awards! to Dominion pilots serving with the R.A.F. incliudes the name of Flying Officer Cecil Rowland White, son of Mr C. M. White of Waimana. Our warmest congratulations to the recipient and to his family. Flying Officer White, had displayed outstanding ability and devotion to duty on many operational sorties, says his citation, and his line example contributed to the successes of his squadron. Flying Officer White Avas born at Opotiki in 1919 and was educated at Wesley College.
