The National; Patriotic Fund Board lias been advisvd that to .supplement gilt cigarettes and tobneeo sent from the Dominion from time to time arrangements have Jicen made with the British Customs authorities for the importation of duty free tobacco and cigarettes from New Zealand for re-sale to New Zealand ers serving in the 11. An undertaking has been given that the tobacco- and cigarettes will be so'ld only by the office of the New Zealand War Services' Association, London, and 'that the quantity sold to any one individual will not exceed 8 ounces' a month. A consignment for resale purposes is .being sent periodically by the National Patriotic Fund Board. The New Zealand Forecs Club, London, according to recent reports, continues to be well patronised. An indication of this is given from the following figures relating to a period of 24 days. This organisation has provided comforts, "knitted goods, and a'lso grants for the purchase of comforts for the New Zealanders in the Middle East, as well as materials to assist in the occupational therapy work carried out among the wounded New Zealanders in the hospitals, in this theatre. At Christmas, in addition to the supplies of parcels and cigaretf tes sent from New Zealand, the organisation provided 19 eases of cigarettes for the New Zealand I* orces.
